Outzone Sagl ("Outzone", "we", "us") operates the Outzone mobile app and website, a platform for event discovery, ticketing and light social features. These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") set out what is allowed and what is prohibited when you post content and interact with others on Outzone. Their purpose is simple: to keep Outzone a safe, authentic and respectful space, from the digital world to real life.
If there is any divergence between the Italian and English versions of these Guidelines, the Italian version prevails.
1. Relationship with the Terms and other legal documents
These Guidelines are an integral part of, and subordinate to, the Terms of Use. They are read together with the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, the Ticket Sale & Refund Terms and the Cookie Policy.
In case of conflict, the Terms of Use prevail; these Guidelines specify and supplement their rules of conduct, without broadening or limiting their scope. Capitalised terms (e.g. "User", "Organizer", "Platform", "Event", "Ticket", "Content") have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Use.
By accepting the Terms of Use at sign-up, you also accept these Guidelines. They apply to every User and to all Content you generate on the Platform — in particular posts, comments, reactions, tags, Event reviews and profile content — as well as to your participation in Events.
2. Our principles
Outzone is not just another social network: we care about what you do in real life, not how many likes you get online. Our community rests on three principles:
- Authenticity: we want people on Outzone to be who they say they are, and their interactions and Event participation to be genuine.
- Respect: everyone has the right to take part without being harassed, discriminated against or intimidated.
- Safety: the Platform must be a safe space for everyone, with particular attention to younger and vulnerable people.
3. What we expect from you
When you use the Platform and post Content, we ask you to:
- treat other Users as you would want to be treated;
- be authentic in your profile information, photos and the Content you post;
- respect others' privacy choices (see section 5);
- honour the Tickets you buy by showing up to Events and respecting the Organizers' rules;
- report Content or behaviour you consider inappropriate through the built-in tools (see section 9).
4. Prohibited behaviour
You may not post Content, or behave, in ways that fall into the categories below. This list is illustrative and not exhaustive.
4.1 Harassment, hate and discrimination
The following Content or behaviour is prohibited:
- harassment, intimidation, threats or stalking of other Users;
- promoting hatred, violence or discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age or other personal characteristics;
- insults, aggressive language, hate speech or incitement to violence;
- unwanted attention towards other Users, in particular of a sexual nature, or repeating it after a refusal.
We apply a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment, direct threats and hate speech.
4.2 Illegal, violent or sexually explicit content
You may not post, share or promote Content that:
- is unlawful under applicable law;
- contains graphic violence, gore, or glorifies terrorism or extremism;
- is sexually explicit, pornographic or unsuitable for minors;
- promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders or other self-destructive behaviour;
- promotes the use of illegal drugs or dangerous practices;
- infringes the intellectual-property, image or privacy rights of third parties.
4.3 Spam, scams and fraudulent activity
The following is prohibited:
- posting unsolicited Content for commercial, promotional or advertising purposes (spam);
- attempting to obtain other Users' personal information or payment data through phishing or social engineering;
- promoting pyramid schemes, scams or unregulated investments;
- using the Platform for money laundering or other unlawful financial activity;
- fraudulently circumventing the Platform's payment and ticketing processes.
For paid Events, the seller and merchant of record — the Organizer or Outzone Sagl — is identified before purchase. Purchase, refund and dispute conditions are set out in the Ticket Sale & Refund Terms.
4.4 False identities and impersonation
The Platform is built on trust between real Users. You may not:
- create accounts with false data, or using another person's name or photo;
- impersonate companies, organisations or public figures without authorisation;
- create multiple accounts to evade a prior restriction or removal;
- use bots, automated accounts or fake profiles.
Outzone reserves the right to request identity checks where there are well-founded doubts about the genuineness of an account.
4.5 Other Users' privacy
Respect others' visibility choices (see section 5). In particular, you may not:
- screenshot participant lists and share them outside the Platform;
- identify, tag or publicly name Users who have chosen Private visibility;
- disclose other Users' personal information without their explicit consent (doxxing);
- post photos or videos depicting other Users without their consent;
- use data obtained through the Platform (e.g. participant lists, Event data) for purposes other than the specific Event.
Note on paid purchases. Outzone is designed not to share a buyer's name or email with other Users. The Organizer receives only the data needed to run the Event and admit attendees. If it is the merchant of record, it also receives the payment-linked name from Stripe; if Outzone Sagl is the seller, the Organizer receives no payment data from Stripe. This flow is described in the Privacy Policy and the Ticket Sale & Refund Terms. The Organizer may process received data only to manage its own Event.
4.6 Ticket touting and ticketing abuse
The Platform exists to let people attend real Events. You may not:
- buy Tickets using bots or automated systems;
- resell Tickets above their purchase price;
- post Ticket-resale offers on unauthorised external channels;
- attempt to duplicate, forge or alter digital Tickets.
5. Privacy and visibility
You can set the visibility of your account and your Content to three levels: Public, Friends or Private.
- Public: profile, activity and Events visible to other Users.
- Private: your profile is not visible to or searchable by others.
By default, adult accounts (18+) are Public and minors' accounts (16–17) are Private (see section 6). Circumventing or violating another User's visibility choices is a serious breach of these Guidelines. For details on data processing, see the Privacy Policy.
6. Protection of minors
Outzone is intended for people aged 16 or over. For Users aged 16–17 we apply enhanced protections. The following is absolutely prohibited:
- attempting to groom minors for sexual purposes;
- sending or showing sexual or sexually suggestive Content to minors;
- attempting to isolate a minor from their legal guardians, or suggesting they hide communications;
- selling or promoting prohibited products to minors (alcohol, tobacco, drugs, gambling);
- circumventing the age checks applied to adult-only Events (18+).
Breaches relating to the protection of minors result in removal of the Content and immediate account block, in addition to reporting to the competent authorities (see section 8 on CSAM).
7. Sensitive events and delicate contexts
Some contexts call for particular care. We ask you to:
- Mourning, memorial and charity events: interact sensitively, avoiding inappropriate irony.
- Political, religious or social events: respect others' opinions, even divergent ones, without descending into hate speech.
- Events with vulnerable audiences: do not exploit situations of fragility for personal ends.
- Crises and emergencies: during crises (disasters, health emergencies, serious events) Outzone may temporarily strengthen moderation.
8. Illegal content, notice-and-action and CSAM
Beyond breaches of these Guidelines, some Content may be illegal under applicable law. Anyone — User or third party — may report Content they consider illegal through the reporting system (section 9) or by writing to info@outzone.app, providing a reason and, where possible, the precise location of the Content.
When we receive a sufficiently substantiated report of illegal Content, we review it and act promptly: we may remove or disable access to the Content, restrict the responsible account and, where the law requires, inform the authorities. We will communicate the outcome to the reporter and to the person affected by the decision, in accordance with section 10 (statement of reasons and appeal).
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and abuse of minors. We apply zero tolerance. Content that constitutes child sexual abuse material, or credible reports of exploitation or grooming of minors, is removed immediately, the responsible account is removed, and the case is reported to the competent authorities (in Switzerland, fedpol / cantonal police; in the EU, the competent national authorities and, where applicable, the designated reporting channels). We retain the elements needed for such reporting to the extent permitted by law.
9. Reporting system and protection of reporters
If you see Content, behaviour or a User that breaches these Guidelines — or Content you believe is illegal — report it to us. You can do so in two ways:
- In-app report button: available on Content and profiles. It takes just a few taps.
- Email: for more complex cases or those with attachments, write to info@outzone.app.
We will review reports as quickly as possible, giving priority to cases involving physical safety and minors. You can also block another User at any time from their profile: the blocked User can no longer interact with you.
Protection of good-faith reporters. Anyone who makes a report in good faith suffers no consequences merely for having reported, even if the report turns out to be unfounded. We reserve any measures only for cases of manifest and repeated abuse of the reporting system (for example, clearly false or pretextual reports used to harass or retaliate). Do not use the reporting system to obstruct or intimidate other Users.
10. Moderation, measures and appeal
10.1 How we moderate
We review reported Content and may act on Content that breaches these Guidelines or the law. Moderation may use both human review and automated tools in support; decisions that significantly affect an account (for example, a restriction or removal) are subject, on request, to human review.
10.2 Available measures
Depending on the seriousness of the breach, its repetition and the context, we may take one or more of the following measures:
| Measure | When it applies | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Warning | First minor breach | Formal notice and removal of the specific Content; invitation to correct the behaviour |
| Content removal | Content breaching the Guidelines or the law | The Content is made unavailable |
| Temporary restriction (discretionary) | Repeated or medium-severity breaches | Restriction of the account for a duration set at our discretion |
| Removal (account block) | Very serious breaches, fraud, protection of minors or repetition | The account is blocked and cannot be accessed |
We may apply the more severe measures directly, even without a prior warning, in cases of: very serious breach of the rules protecting minors; fraud, money laundering or illegal activity; direct threats to the physical or psychological safety of other Users; systematic repetition of previously sanctioned behaviour.
10.3 Statement of reasons and appeal
When we take a measure that affects your account, or remove your Content, we provide you with a statement of reasons — the rule applied and the type of measure — by email (push notifications can be turned off, so notices affecting your rights reach you by email).
If you believe the measure is wrong or disproportionate, you may appeal by writing to info@outzone.app within 30 days of the notice. The appeal is reviewed by a person not involved in the initial decision; we will communicate the outcome to you. If we confirm the error, we reinstate the Content or the account.
11. Retention of moderation records
We retain reports, the history of measures and appeals for as long as necessary for safety, abuse-prevention and compliance-evidence purposes, and in any event within the limits set by applicable law. Processing of this data is based on our legitimate interest in the safety of the Platform and its Users (and, for illegal Content, on compliance with legal obligations). Details on retention periods and your rights are in the Privacy Policy.
12. Complaints to the supervisory authority
These Guidelines and our moderation decisions do not affect your rights. Where a decision concerns the processing of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
- Switzerland: Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/EDÖB), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern — www.edoeb.admin.ch
- European Union/EEA: the competent supervisory authority of the Member State of your habitual residence.
Judicial remedies under the Terms of Use remain unaffected (Swiss law; forum Lugano, save for mandatory consumer-protection rules).
13. Updates
We may update these Guidelines as the community, the product or the legal framework evolves. The last-updated date is shown at the top. In the event of material changes, we will notify you through the Platform or by email. Notices that affect your rights will be sent to you by email.
For any question about these Guidelines, or if you have an idea to improve them, write to us at info@outzone.app. Thank you for being part of the Outzone community.
